GreenLight Mobility Fairfax is proudly owned and operated by Lindabeth and John Doby. As experienced project managers with advanced degrees in engineering and business, we understand that successful outcomes depend on clear communication, thoughtful planning, and careful coordination. While these skills are essential in business, we have learned firsthand how important they become when families are navigating changes in mobility, safety, and independence at home.

For more than twenty years, Lindabeth worked in the healthcare and pharmaceutical supply chain sector, helping ensure that life-saving medicines donated by the United States reached people in need throughout developing countries. This experience as well as being a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) reinforced the importance of reliability, compassion, and attention to detail when people’s well-being is at stake.

Our connection to this work is also deeply personal. Together, we spent more than eleven years helping care for Lindabeth’s parents and John’s mother as they faced the challenges that come with aging. During that time, we experienced firsthand the concerns, decisions, and emotions that families face when trying to help loved ones remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes.

Those experiences inspired us to join GreenLight Mobility. We understand the urgency families feel when a loved one’s needs change, and we know how overwhelming it can be to navigate mobility equipment, home modifications, and care planning. Our goal is to make that process easier by providing trusted guidance, clear communication, and customized solutions that help people remain independent and confident in the place they call home.

As longtime Northern Virginia residents, we have proudly called this community home for more than thirty years.
