Unfortunately, knowing how to take action when the sirens starts to make noise may be a bit difficult for some senior citizens. To help ensure that your elderly loved ones are safe during extreme weather conditions, here is a safety checklist that you can use. -          Be aware of the natural disasters that will strike your area. -          Make a list of things that your senior can or can’t do in the event of a natural disaster. -          Older adults should go sooner during evacuation. -          Make sure you have at least a one-month supply of medication on hand.
