  • Deal with the clutter and organize -- you can manage each room better if everything is sorted out and ready to be dealt with.
  • Determine if furniture or any belongings need repair; if an item can no longer be repaired, or may cost a lot to repair, consider a replacement.
  • Refresh your home's features, such as the paint and your garden.
