Senior citizens can easily be swayed when it comes to big and tempting offers, especially with anything that implies money savings. Here are a few tips to help you stay financially safe:
  • Protect personal information - don't give out information on your insurance, bank account, Social Security number, etc. to strangers
  • Whenever undergoing a transaction (i.e. home maintenance services, etc.) ask for a written contract
  • Avoid suspicious transactions (i.e. to-good-to-be-true offers, over-the-phone medical insurance offers, etc.)
