For many senior citizens, driving can become a bit risky especially if they start experiencing problems with their vision or other impairments. Good thing our elderly relatives can now sign up for a driving rehabilitation program at Mercy Hospital. Based on a senior citizen’s medical condition, the hospital will be able to assess whether or not driving is unsafe for the elderly person. Mercy Hospital Certified Driving Rehabilitation Specialist Mindy Smithwick said, “We kind of find out what their medical conditions are, what their medications are.
