Falling victim to various financial schemes is continually becoming a common occurrence of senior citizens. Here are some tips to make sure you never fall into one:
  • Don't trust mails stating that you won the sweepstakes or lottery especially when you are being asked to wire money to someone you don't know.
  • Never pass personal information to callers over the phone who claim to be medicare representatives or from any other organization.
  • Avoid subscribing to door-to-door services, especially from people who do not have sufficient proof of credentials.
