Envoy America, a subscription-based ride service that began operating in Scottsdale, offers companionship for seniors and peace of mind for their children. Unlike ride sharing, Envoy America is a door-to-door that doesn’t require a smart phone app. According to Rae Thompson, using the ride service gives her a sense of security. Although she doesn’t have many places that she needs to go to, she certainly feels that she can get there if she needs to.
