Belize Zoo Improves Walkways for Handicaps and Elderly

Jerome Flores, a consultant for SHED (Stroller-Handicap-Elderly-Disabled), paid a visit to Belize Zoo to try out the new walkway. He was joined by Berto Wohlers and Tony Garel who managed the progress of SHED. The trio had a good "wheel around" the zoo. The difference between the loose-gravel pathway and the upgrade is something to applaud as guests who are not as mobile will no longer be left out from a fun zoo visit. Read more: The Belize Zoo Blog
